Pupil Specific Teaching Assistant (GR9009- pupil specific)

 

Hours : 22.5 hours (8.45 – 1.15) 5 days per week initially, but likely to reduce to 16.25 hrs per week from January 2022 (8.45 – 12 Noon)

Salary: Scale D  Point 5 - 6 (£10.00 - £10.21 per hour) depending on experience
Required from September 2021

We are looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant to work with an individual reception child from September 2021 in order to support the named pupil with all aspects of their school day.   We are seeking to appoint a creative, committed and enthusiastic person to work as part of our team here at Trowse School.  This is a very exciting opportunity to join an outstanding and growing school, in a brand new school building.  Interviews will be conducted in agreement with latest guidance at the time of interview.

We are looking to appoint a person who:

- has a special interest in working in a pupil specific role;

- genuinely enjoys working with young children, showing them respect and fostering their all-round

  development;

- has experience of working with young children (EYFS preferable);

- possesses good personal literacy, numeracy and ICT skills;

- has a good understanding of phonics;

- may have expertise in working with children with ASD;

- may have speech and language support skills
- is flexible, calm and enjoys working as part of a strong team;
- has the interpersonal skills to develop positive and supportive relationships with children, staff  

  and parents.
- has the ability to use their own initiative to support learning needs of children.
- has a sense of humour and lots of energy!

TEACHING ASSISTANT –  2 Days (10 ½ hours) per week

 

Working in KS1 with our Year 2 children, 2 days a week (GR: 9009)

Salary:  Scale D – Points 5 & 6 (£10.00 - £10.21 per hour- depending on experience)

Hours: 10.5 hours per week (8:45 – 3.15 with 1 hr 15 for lunch) – Term time + 1 week

This is a very exciting opportunity to join an outstanding school, in a brand new purpose built building. The role will be a permanent position.

Interviews will be conducted in agreement with latest guidance at the time of interview.

We are looking to appoint someone who:
